2008 Chrysler Sebring Specification- Engine

Ever since its launch it has been a favorite amongst users. The 2008 Chrysler Sebring has a complete new look, which makes the sedan a wonderful vehicle to drive and ride for long distances. Likes it exterior, Sebring sedan's engines are engineered beautifully, creating an exciting powerful machine on the road. For 2008, there are three different powerful engines for the Sebring line-up. The engines are:

• 2.4-litre I4 VVT Engine
• 2.7-litre DOHC 24-Valve V6 Engine
• 3.5-Litre SOHC 24-Valve V6 engine

The standard 2.4-litre DOHC 16-valve I4 engine gives 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque. With the Dual variable-valve timing (DVVT), the engine gets the much-needed flexibility to provide peak power and torque with a smooth operation. This engine provides an excellent fuel economy with an estimated EPA of 21 in the city and 30 on the highway.

The 2.7-litre DOHC 24-Valve V6 engine comes as an optional feature on the Sebring Touring model. This engine has an outstanding combination of performance, fuel economy, exhaust emission control, quietness and durability. It gives 189 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque. The best feature of this engine is that it accepts conventional unleaded gasoline as well as E85

The most powerful engine is the 3.5-Litre SOHC 24-Valve V6 engine, which comes standard on the Limited AWD model. It becomes more powerful when coupled with a six-speed AutoStick transmission. This engine delivers a smooth and quiet ride and gives 235 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque. It has a solid fuel economy of 16 mpg in the city and 26 on the highway.
